About The Event
Always a popular feature at our live conferences, CCTV Question Time is your chance to ask questions and share experiences with your peers about anything and everything related to CCTV. Open to Members only, this is a chance to get advice or share concerns with Members of the CCTV User Group, whether that be technical, best practice, regulatory or operational.
Bring your questions for the first in our new series of expert webinars. Taking questions will be our two resident experts:
- Peter Webster - director of the CCTV User Group and CCTV manager at Slough Borough Council
- Ilker Dervish - vice chair of the CCTV User Group and long-time consultant at Comfort Zone
Guest contributor: Jason Owen, CCTV manager for one of the largest inner-London local authorities and founder and director of Pixel Consultancy. Jason has a wealth of experience across commercial and government CCTV operations.
Jason’s experience within local authority has been integral in the replacement of the council’s dated analogue system, to a full IP digital network as well as a full relocation of the control room itself. Jason also consulted on one of Europe’s largest town developments in commissioning a fully compliant network of highway cameras as well as liaising with foreign embassy and iconic building staff with their CCTV enquiries.
Jason currently liaises with the British Home Office as one of the Surveillance Camera Commissioners advisory consultants, which has seen him advising on such topics as National Standards and certification and standardising video output mediums for use by police and court authorities.
