Raising money for a Papyrus, a really worthwhile charity working to prevent young suicide.
You may remember a few weeks ago we blogged about one of our members, Mark Elen from ICS doing the 'Ride London' challenge.
Below is a message we received from Mark this morning (Monday, May 30th, 2022)
Hi Peter,
I’m glad to say, today [Sunday] I completed Ride London. 102 Miles in 6 hours and 5 minutes and averaging 16.8 mph. Hard work and, I’m a bit knackered now, but well worth the effort.
Many thanks again for both your kind donation and giving me the chance to raise some more funds for Papyrus at the CCTV User Group 'Vision 2022' event. At present the total raised is £1,975.
What a great effort by Mark. He had set himself a target of raising £2,000 and was just £25 short so we thought to give him a hand and made a further, personal donation to make sure he achieved his target. Mark is truly inspirational and passionate about this worthy cause.
